Colour fastness

A feature of polypropylene is the impossibility of colouring it in normal textile processes. Therefore it should be solution dyed that gives a high degree of fastness in extreme circumstances.

There is a special Nickel Complex additive that when added to the mass allows a printing additive dyeing with special coloring, although bright shades cannot be obtained.

REMARKS:

-For light fastness, index-numbers go from 1 to 8 in blue shades with Xenotest 1.200

-All other index numbers go from 1 to 5

-Dry cleaning must be understood with Perchlor-athylene.

-Swimming pool water includes 20 mg/l. of active chlorine.

-Test washing ISO-3 is equivalent to a washing at 60ºC. with 5 glb. of soap and 2 glb. of soda carbonate for 30 minuts.
